Summer Team 2019

What:  Reach High Rowing Summer Team is open to high school rowers and rising 8th grade rowers with at least one year of rowing experience. Summer Team is offered to those athletes looking to continue training at a high level during the summer. On water workouts will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a supplemental land-based workout plan available for rowers to complete on their own on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Rowers are expected to commit to the entire session and to be available for participation in the Philadelphia Youth Regatta on July 20th

Who:  Students entering 8th through 12th grade with one year of rowing experience

When:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 6:45 AM to 8:30 AM

  • June 24 – July 26, 2019

Where: Baltimore Community Rowing Boathouse, 3301 Waterview Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

Cost:  $225

Scholarships are available for Baltimore City Public School students; please contact for details.

Swim Test:  All Reach High rowers who have completed a swim test in the 2019 calendar year do not have to take a new swim test to participate in Summer Racing Camp. Rowers new to Reach High must complete a swim test in the presence of a certified life guard and submit a Swim Test Verification Form prior to their first practice. The Swim Test Verification Form is available for download below. No rower will be allowed on the water without a Swim Test Verification Form on file.
