Scholarships

Baltimore Community Rowing (BCR) seeks to assure that rowers have the opportunity to compete regardless of financial means. To that end, BCR allocates received grant funding to help defray program fees for athletes attending Baltimore City Public Schools.

Scholarships are awarded based on available funding, financial need, and an athlete's commitment to BCR. Scholarships must be renewed each season by application prior to registration.  Scholarships do not cover ancillary costs such as uniforms, meals while traveling, and championship-level regattas (ie, Youth Nationals, Head of the Charles)

To apply for a Reach High Baltimore scholarship rowers must either 1) be a 6th through 12th grade student enrolled and attending a Baltimore City Public School, OR 2) the Rower has previously been a part of our scholarship program.
